Recording taxes payments from the company to the Gov.

Posted by Lady Munoz
Hello!

I have been learning Quickbooks from you since last week, and I have a question:

How do I record my taxes payments on Quickbooks?

I could not find a video showing me that process.

I appreciate your help,

Lady Munoz

Hello,

If you mean your Sales Tax, you go to "Manage Sales Tax" on the home screen, or Vendors, Sales Tax; pay sales tax.

If you pay your sales tax another way QuickBooks won't adjust the amount due in this window, you will have to do an adjustment here or delete the original tax payment (keeping all info, date, amount, check#) and go into the Manage Sales Tax, pay sales tax, and re-enter the info.
